Title I funds best served for urban debate

Today, League Developer, Jermyn Shannon-El, met with the Duval County Public School Community Education supervisors regarding the start of the Duval Urban Debate League in Jacksonville’s Turnaround middle schools. It was unanimously agreed that Title I funds will be used for initial development of the League, which is currently the “largest source of K-12 federal funding created to provide low-income, high need students with supplementary academic services”
